About me
I’m Alison, qualified Reflexologist and founder of Inner Balance.
My journey with reflexology began in 2021 when I enrolled on the Level 5 Reflexology Practitioner Diploma at Jubilee College. After completing over 100 case studies, essays, and practical assessments, I qualified in 2022 and launched Inner Balance Reflexology.
At first, I balanced running my practice alongside a full-time job. But in January 2025, I took a big leap—leaving employment behind to dedicate myself fully to growing Inner Balance and supporting my clients through reflexology.
Professionalism and quality are at the heart of what I do. That’s why I chose to join the Association of Reflexologists. Being a member not only demonstrates my training and qualifications, but also means I adhere to their professional code of conduct—so you can feel reassured that you’re in safe, capable hands.

This personalised session is ideal if you’re looking for support with a particular issue or simply want a treatment designed entirely around your individual needs.
Your first session (75 minutes) begins with a gentle 15-minute consultation, giving us time to talk through your health, lifestyle, and what you’d like to gain from reflexology. This is followed by a 60-minute treatment, where we work across all the reflex points to identify any areas of imbalance and gain a full picture of your overall wellbeing.
Using these insights, we’ll create a bespoke treatment plan that’s carefully tailored to you — supporting your unique goals and helping to bring your body and mind back into balance.

Hand Reflexology
A deeply soothing treatment that focuses solely on the hands, perfect for anyone who loves the benefits of reflexology but prefers not to have their feet touched.
During this 60-minute session, gentle pressure and flowing movements are applied to specific reflex points on the hands, helping to release tension and restore balance throughout the body. The hands are incredibly responsive, and working on them can bring a surprising sense of calm and connection.

Sole and Palm Reflexology Duo
Experience the ultimate in relaxation and balance with this 90-minute treatment, combining the benefits of both hand and foot reflexology.
Your session begins 30 minutes of hand reflexology, gently easing tension and helping you to unwind as the body starts to relax. This is followed by 60 minutes of foot reflexology, working deeper into the reflex points on the feet to encourage the body’s natural healing processes and restore harmony throughout.
This treatment offers a truly holistic experience — calming the mind, soothing the nervous system, and leaving you feeling deeply grounded and rebalanced from head to toe.

When life feels busy and you simply need a moment to pause, this session is designed just for you.
The Time for You package is a 45-minute reflexology treatment focused purely on relaxation. Gentle, flowing movements help release built-up tension, calm the mind, and bring the body back into a state of ease.
It’s the perfect choice when you want to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. You’ll leave feeling lighter, deeply relaxed, and restored — ready to step back into life with a renewed sense of balance.

How often should I have reflexology?
Everyone is different, but many people benefit from regular sessions — weekly or fortnightly at first, then moving to monthly maintenance. We can discuss what feels right for you based on your goals and how your body responds.
What Should i wear to an appointment?
Feel free to wear anything comfortable. Only your shoes and socks need to be removed, so you can relax without worrying about changing clothes
Does reflexology hurt?
Reflexology should feel relaxing and comfortable. Some areas may feel tender if there’s an imbalance, but this sensation is usually mild and passes quickly. Most people find the treatment deeply soothing.
What happens during an appointment?
Your session begins with a quick check-in, followed by a relaxing treatment where gentle pressure is applied to specific reflex points on the feet or hands. All you need to do is lie back, close your eyes, and enjoy some quiet time for yourself
What is a healing reaction?
A healing reaction is a natural response as your body begins to rebalance. You may feel tired, emotional, or notice changes such as increased thirst. These are temporary and usually pass within 24–48 hours — and they’re a sign your body is adjusting.
What should i do following an appointment?
After your treatment, drink plenty of water, avoid caffeine and alcohol, take it easy if you can, and listen to your body. You may feel deeply relaxed, sleepy, or energised — all perfectly normal as your system rebalances.
